One of the unexpected surprises about playing music, is that we don't always know who we'll be playing music WITH!

During Myrtle Beach's 47th Annual Sun Fun Festival, we had a great time working as the opening act for American Idol's Reuben Studdard and Ace Young, Country Music band Exile, and Alternative Rockers, Third Eye Blind. It doesn't get much more diverse than that! If anyone has any photos, please pass them along.

Our "Beachmobile" has been getting quite a workout this past month, traveling south for a Florida Mini Tour, then north to Put-In-Bay, Ohio, for the Phlocking of the Phaithful.

FLORIDA THANKS
--Thanks again to the Sarasota Parrothead Club, a group who can party with the best of them. That was a pool party for the record books!

--To everyone who attended our Three Part Harmony Tour with our good friend, Sunny Jim. Performing with Tom's Dad, Joe, and Sunny Jim's Dad, Shady, (AKA the "Grateful Dads")was a real treat. Those of you who were there know what we mean!!!!

--And to Dennis and Nancy at the Nav-a-Gator Grille. Thanks for your compassion. In 11 years, Michelle has only missed TWO performances, and although she was feeling under the weather that night, Tom and Sunny Jim sure put on a show. We'll be back at the Nav-a-Gator this month. Check out our schedule for details!

OHIO THANKS
--To Patty and Dan Kaley, organizers of the Phlocking of the Phaithful, and the fantastic group of partiers who find their "purpose" there each year! If you have a chance to visit this island in Lake Erie -- DO IT, especially during this event!!!!

THIS MONTH
This month, we have some great shows scheduled in our Home Port, including a Parrothead Festival at beautiful La Belle Amie Vineyard and a concert at the Wild Water and Wheels Waterpark (it's not everyday you can listen to Latitude while floating in an inner tube!) Also, for our friends in SW Florida, we have picked up a LAST MINUTE show at the Nav-A-Gator Grille in Arcadia, FL, on July 11. Get there early, this place gets PACKED!

In 2006, Latitude celebrates it's 10th year of entertaining audiences worldwide!

It seems like yesterday that we came to Myrtle Beach for the summer as the house band at the Myrtle Beach Resort. (After spending way too many summers in land-locked Nashville, it was an opportunity we just couldn't refuse!)

How could we have known that our 'summer trip' would have lasted 10 years, and that our new home base would inspire us to write and produce four CD's, and bring us opportunities to play in 25 states, Europe and the Caribbean?

To say that the past 10 years have been an incredible journey would be an understatement!

We are planning some great surprises for the coming year as our way of saying 'thanks'!
